Cebu Landmasters launches first coworking space

MANILA -- Cebu Landmasters has opened its first co-working space.
In a statement, the real estate developer said WorkNook gives freelancers, small businesses, startups and students a flexible, accessible workspace.
WorkNook is located at Base Line Center, a modern mixed-use development in Cebu City near Ascott-branded hotels Citadines Cebu City and lyf Cebu City. There are also residential condominiums, an office building and dining and leisure options nearby.
WorkNook has high-speed internet, office-grade furniture, secure lockers, and a pantry with coffee, the company said.
Cebu Landmsters Senior Vice President for Marketing and Leasing Joanna Soberano-Bergundthal said the company is excited to contribute to Cebu’s dynamic remote work and business scene. “Our goal is to support professionals seeking alternatives to working from home in a modern, positive work environment,” she said.
The company also said opening the coworking space is part of its efforts to diversify and grow its leasing portfolio.
Known for its residential, office, and mixed-use developments, Cebu Landmasters said it has 9,219 square meters of leasable space in its portfolio. The firm said it saw a 47 percent year-on-year increase in leasing revenues.
